How will the Network Operate?

RNSISS will enhance the capacity and capability of Australian researchers to harness Geographic Information Science methodologies and other tools of spatial analysis and modelling in developing and applying innovative theoretical frameworks incorporating the tools and techniques widely used in a more disciplinary-specific context for a spatially integrated approach in addressing important societal concerns. From theory development to research design and data collection and to the interpretation of research findings, a spatially integrated social science approach can enhance the capability of Network partnerships to make their existing high quality research efforts more effective through integration, collaboration and teamwork, both among themselves and with end users of their research.
